Pink Lips - That Kat Von D

Kat Von D Foiled Love Liquid Lipstick. The color is called Backstage Bambi. I've always had full, plump lips and found them as a flaw. Lately, I have learned to embrace what I have. I realize that my lips have become one of my favorite characteristics about myself. Lipstick is just a must for me now. I love seeing how I look in different types of colors and changing it up with my outfits. They have lip plumpers in the makeup market to help some women make their lips more full and I already have them. I love my lips and I wouldn't change anything about them. This is kind of a body peace thing for me. Honey, I was born this way. haha

The Pretty Reckless II - The Red Party

The first few pictures are all the photos I took at the after party for fashion week. I had such a great time the whole week. I was around such cool people with great styles. The Red Party was full of mingling and having fun. Next, my outfit is inspired by The Red Party. I really love my buttoned down dress, lace leggings, and suspender hoodie. I just switched up the look with my red collar babydoll shirt and classic black boots. I added the matching bird skull necklace and earrings. I put on some charcoal eye shadow and red lipstick to look more chic but edgy.

I originally had this look inspired by one of the designers at FWSA. Samantha Plasencia designs were extraordinary. I love the edge that all her models had. She used this quote from Alexander McQueen that says "I want people to be afraid of the women I dress". That's exactly what I felt from her models and I love that so much. Her designs reminded me of Jaden Smith & MSFTSrep but so much more than that. I personally wish I used as much edge as she uses in her designs. She has so much skill that I love.
Check out & like her page at . My style and garments are more retro than anything but I've always loved edge. Alexander McQueen is my top favorite designers & I hate that he left us so soon. This look was also inspired by American Horror Story. I think that show is extremely cool & I admire it. This is me using my inspiration along with my personal style. Can you see my story?....

The Winter Solstice

It was cool going to this event. I met some new people and other designers like myself. It's so nice to see Shanavier as a emerging designer for her clothing line Shanavier Mclemore. It's something great to see because she's successfully doing what I'm trying to do myself. I can never forget her making my prom dress design come to life. Designers Daiquonne & Brittnee's designs were also displayed at The Winter Solstice. I loved how chic Daiquonne's designs were and how different Brittnee's designs came out compared to Shanavier and Daiqonne's designs. I liked all the designs, every designer had a signature look. There's only a few pics I took, wish I took more. You can check out more of Shanavier's designs at . You can also check out Brittnee on

All Hail Lana

Where did the trend of flower crowns come from?? It came from the lovely Lana Del Rey. Lana is not your original musician. She's very different from all the artists out there. She has this personality like no other. Her songs consist of such great stories and they leave you so inspired. I would love to meet her one day. I originally love the flower crown trend. It's been out for awhile. It's a fashion favorite. I handmade my flower crown hours before FWSA. Joey Ramirez was the designer for the show I went to. His models had this Lana Del Rey Beehive thing going on and her music played in his show. I read about him in the FWSA program and I had to go. He used skull prints in his show & they said he was going to use flower crowns but he took them out. It was a great show, I loved it!

The Pretty Reckless

This outfit is inspired by The Pretty Reckless. I gave this look a more blurry effect because I thought it fit the title better. I went to go see The Pretty Reckless this last October here in San Antonio. I got to meet them & everything! I met the lovely Taylor Momsen. I love how much of a rebel she is. You know she's your typical rockstar idol. She has that I don't give a heck attitude.  She's actually really nice and down to earth person. They all pretty are. She asked me if it was my first time seeing them and if I'd see them again & I told her "Of Course, I will!" All in one, I admire Taylor Momsen and I love her style very much. The Pretty Reckless has a great sound. I love them to bits & pieces. They were awesome in concert!

L.A.M.B By Gwen Stefani FWSA'13

L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani was the last fashion show at FWSA. The clothes were really great. They were very Gwen Stefani. I loved them. The clothes really took me back to when No Doubt just started.  Her style really was a huge trend when she first started off. I believe she still has a mark in the fashion world. Gwen Stefani has an amazing personality & talent. You can see it through her style. She's an inspiration. I would love to meet her one day.  After this fashion show, they had a after party for Tony Harris.
