Daniel Hinojos SS 2015 Collection

Hello everyone, today's post will be the last of the year. Daniel Hinojos is the last fashion designer I'm featuring from The Fashion Seam show. Daniel's whole collection was dedicated to his grandfather with cancer. I believe he said that his grandfather was born in the 20s and his collection was inspired by that time. I thought the whole idea behind Daniel's collection was incredibly generous and unique. All the girls looked chic and classy with a mix of flirty. There was some minor problems with some of the blouse openings with some models but it happens. Daniel did more looks than anyone and great ones at that. He won a few awards at the show as well. If you're interested in Daniel's collection, you can email him at Dhinojos86@yahoo.com.

I hope you everyone enjoyed reading this post. It was nice sharing my pictures and thoughts with you guys. I had a fun time being at The Fashion Seam show. I thought all you guys would enjoy seeing what was showcased. Happy New Years Eve!! I have a surprise for all my followers tomorrow. I can't wait to see how you guys like it. Until then, have a great day and be safe tonight while celebrating tonight!

Keren Hapuc SS 2015 Collection

Hello everyone, I have another evening post for you guys. Today I will be talking about fashion designer Keren Hapuc. Keren was the last female designer to showcase her collection that night. Keren did 3 female designs along with 2 male designs. I'm a really big fan of the printed fabrics Keren chose. Also, some of the colors she chose are my personal favorites. I liked how chic and simple Keren's designs were. The girls outfits looked fun and flirty to me. I think the guys outfits were nice too. If you're interested in Keren's collection, you can contact her at Keren.hapuc@yahoo.com.

I hope you guys enjoy the runway photos and this post. Until then, have an awesome day everyone!! All these models were from The Agency Model And Talent. All hair and makeup was done by Paul Mitchell San Antonio.

Rosangelica Ayala SS 2015 Collection - Sweet Sensations

Hello readers, I hope you guys are excited for the New Year! I know that I am. Today I'm continuing off with another designer from The Fashion Seam Show. Rosangelica Ayala is the special guest designer for today. The name of Rosangelica's Spring/Summer Collection is called Sweet Sensations. I loved Rosangelica's use of colors in this collection. Colors like pink and purple compliment each other very well. The use of the printed fabrics was clever too. I like how the printed fabric in the last three outfits have a textured look to them. I found Rosangelica's beading details very unique. All the beadings in these outfits were done by hand. The solid white and purple color in these outfits brought out the printed fabrics. Rosangelica is really great with color coordination. The models looked so chic and full of sweet sensation.

I attached front and back view photos for a couple of looks. The bottoms in the first look was dark in the picture. I liked how it showed in the back view photo. In most of the looks, you can see her use of the beading. Rosangelica, I hope you liked reading this post. I'm hoping the rest of you enjoyed it as well. Have a wonderful day lovely people!!

Marina Inez McElrea SS 2015 Collection - Military Chic

Hello lovely people, I hope everyone is still enjoying their winter break. I'm featuring Designer Marina Inez McElrea for today's post. She was the third designer to go on at the show. Marina participated in this show as a Sanford Brown College Graduate. I thought Marina's collection was so unique when it appeared on the runway. Her aesthetic was completely different than the other designers. Everything in her collection was constructed so well. The looks looked like they were so fun to wear! I like how she constructed the type of fabric she used. Military Chic fits this collection very well.

I posted front and back pictures of a few looks. I actually took the best pictures out of this collection than the others. I have no idea why but it just happened. I can't wait to share the other designers looks with you guys. I hope you enjoyed reading this post! Until then, have a great day!

Michael Alvarez SS 2015 Collection

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas day! I'm continuing off the designers from my school's fashion show. Today's post is featuring Designer Michael Alvarez. He was one of the first of the three male designers to showcase their collection. Michael's interest is more into menswear. He feels that he understands men more than women. I think Michael did a pretty good job with his collection. Designing a collection takes a lot of time and effort. Also, I think most of the girl's looks weren't too bad at all. I believe that it can possibly be hard for male designers to design for women. It really depends on the designer but it all takes practice. Women and Men have diverse body shapes.

I hope you guys enjoy reading my fashion event post. I'm not a big fan of writing but I do my best for this blog. I find it fun to write about things you're passionate about. I like writing about local events I go to because going to events like this get me exposed. As fashion students, we are encouraged to go to fashion events. The experience is great to have while in school and most importantly as designers. If your interested in Michael's designs, you can contact him through his email ma.alvrz@gmail.com.

Carol Blentlinger SS 2015 Collection - 20s Kickback

Hello everyone, I'm back again with some fashion event post! I'm going to finish off December with my school's fashion show from November. Yes, I know it's crazy that I'm still sharing things from November. This year was the first year that Sanford Brown presented The Fashion Seam Show. The Fashion Seam show is for Sanford Brown current alumni and upcoming graduates. Each designer had to have experience in specific fashion design classes. Also, each of them went through an audition with the school for the show. Each designer created a Spring/Summer Collection for the show.

Carol Blentlinger is the first designer that I'm featuring today. 20's Kickback is the name of her collection. Carol's collection consisted of flowy bottoms, cold-shoulder sleeves, ruffles, and etc. The colors in this collection were very light and full of spring. The models look like they were very comfortable. I loved the movement of each look that came down the runway. I think Carol's construction skills are excellent. If your interested in Carol's work, you can email her at Charactermom@live.com.

I tried getting the best light I could when shooting these looks. These pictures were actually my first set of pictures from being in the media section. It was awesome to be front and center. I appreciate the practice I'm able to do. I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Happy Holidays to you and your family!!

San Antonio Fashion Week 2014 Day#2

Hello everyone, I'm sorry for the shortage of post lately. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to get the hang of this whole blogging thing. I really want to improve on publishing more post. So, just bear with me. Today's post is about my second/last day at fashion week. I only decided to go to a few shows because of school and money situations. I still had fun seeing what was showcased. I'm glad I got to be a part of fashion week again.

The pictures below are some of the designer's designs from the Moda Next Fashion Show. The Moda Next Fashion Show is a fashion event at FWSA that use to be an emerging designer competition. This year, the Moda Next Fashion Show purpose was to provide mentorship and business support to young talent in San Antonio. Blanquita Sullivan of Bonjour Biqui, Valerie J. Perez of Verseau, Joey Ramirez of Jose Ramirez, Christian Alonzo of 91Authentic, and Bruno Horwath of Ala Verb Clothing showcased their designs at the Moda Next Fashion Show.

I was spotted by local fashion news channel Style Lush TV. There's a part of their channel called Street Beat. Street Beat is spotted looks at any fashion event that Style Lush TV attends. Any of the Fashion Contributors ask for a photo of you if they love your outfit.  LaTanya Ward-Showers spotted me at the Moda Next fashion event. Simple as that and you're a part of the Street Beat! I'm really happy that San Antonio has Style Lush TV. I think it's incredible that they've made a huge impact in such a short amount of time. Style Lush TV has become something so popular here in the San Antonio fashion community. Burgundy Woods is the main lady behind it all. I'm working on my interview questions for her so you guys can get know more about her and Style Lush TV.

The local San Antonio Media Company, San Antonio Current, caught a glimpse of me at the show too. San Antonio Current is the city's premiere multimedia source of alternative news, events and culture. The last photo is just a quick snap of the crazy rain from the show that night. I hope you guys enjoyed reading today's post. I have more post coming this week. Until then, have a great day everyone!
