Style Lush TV Fashion Blogger Meet N Greet

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Today's post is all about the Style Lush TV #GFB Meet N Greet event back in February. GFB stands for Guest Featured Blogger. This was the first meeting of all the GFB's during January. In December, Style Lush TV did a blogger call for fashion bloggers on their site. The whole purpose of this call was to give exposure to new fashion bloggers. I myself decided to go ahead and apply.

After a few days, I got a call from Burgundy about my email. I was going to be featured on Style Lush TV! I was so excited because it was a huge deal to me. Style Lush TV is literally at every fashion event here in San Antonio. I found it cool that the fashion people of San Antonio would get to know about me and this blog.

We all went to Tacos N Tequila for the Meet N Greet. I never been to Tacos N Tequila and was excited to check it out. Style Lush TV got the people there to provide all of us with the happy hour menu. We got some pretty great appetizers and tacos. I had a taste of their Limonadas. I got the Strawberry-Lemon-Basil and Orange-Lemon-Raspberry Limonada. I expected them to be sweet but they were sour. I think I should've known since they were made out of freshly squeezed lemon, lime, and orange juice. I put a little bit of sugar in them to balance out the sour citrus flavor. Aside from that, I really loved the refreshing taste.

I decided to get all three of the tacos they were offering for happy hour. My favorite was the Chicken Verde Taco. The Picadillo and Pulled Pork tacos were too spicy for my taste. I can handle some spice but I just don't prefer it. For Dessert, I tried out their Donut Holes. They're made fresh to order. The donut holes are coated in Cinnamon Sugar and comes with three dipping sauces. The Sangria dipping sauce was my favorite out of  the three. I would love to taste their flan next time just for fun.

It was great getting to meet everybody featured on Style Lush TV. Everyone got to chill out and mingle. We all had the chance to do a little video introducing ourselves. Later on, Burgundy asked one of us do an interview video. So, I decided to be the one to speak.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post. I put the social links for Style Lush TV and Tacos N Tequila below. Check them both out if you all would like to. Also I have the links to my feature and the Meet N Greet. Check out my feature here. Check out the post from the #GFB Meet N Greet here. I apologize for any crazy faces I may have made while talking. I was kind of nervous to talk but I went for it. It's interesting to hear how I sound on video. My voice sounds so different. haha, I wish I did a lipstick check before speaking. Anyways, I think I made some good points in the interview. Have a great night everyone!!

Divine Goddess Artistry Valentines Day Event

Hello everyone, today's post is about Divine Goddess Artistry by Karma Sutton. Divine Goddess Artistry is a team of freelance makeup artists, hair stylists, and a fashion stylist. I've talked about DGA many times before. Kenisha "Karma" Sutton is the CEO/Founder of DGA. DGA was established starting September 2013. The original initials for Karma's business is DGAKS. In November 2014, Karma changed the name. I'm still using the initials DGA just for today's post.

In February, I went to DGA's Valentine Day Makeup Party. They were offering discount makeup services. The purpose of this event was for the ladies to get their makeup done for their lovers. DGA was offering full makeup application with or without false lashes. I offered to blog this event because Karma was looking for someone to do so. I thought it'd be cool to help out. We've worked together many times and it felt right.

I didn't get my makeup done but I took a few pictures from the event. I wish I had taken better pictures of the actual makeup layout. I thought it'd be cool to share a post about this beauty team. I'm personally a lover of makeup. I'm not an expert but I hope to get better with my own in the future. Makeup is a huge part of fashion and that's the reason I love it. I also love that it's another creative outlet. It's another fun way to express yourself.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's post. The social links for Divine Goddess Artistry is below. Check them out! I tried something different with my photos. Let me know what you guys think of them. Have a great night everyone!!

The Empire Group Vision Board Social

Hello everyone, today's post is about The EMPIRE Group. I know this blog is mainly based on fashion but I wanted to share something different. The EMPIRE group is a group for business, entrepreneurial woman.  The word EMPIRE stands for Enterprise Manifesting Personal and Inspirational Relationships of Empowering. The main focus of this group is for women to empower each other. Shanavier McLemore & Kisha Scott originally came up with the idea for this organization.

In January, I went to their Vision Board Social event. Shay invited me to come and check out the event.  For this specific event, Shay & Kisha had all of us create vision boards. We all created a vision board that included our personal goals for the New Year. The vision boards were placed in a frame so that we could always observe our goals frequently. Before starting, we all introduced ourselves to one another, so we could get to know each other. It was nice getting to meet everyone and learn things about them.

I always have fun getting involved in things within my community. I'm always sharing things about my life and this seemed to be alright to share. I enjoyed spending some time with my friend Shay and her peeps. It was a great, fun night. I wish I had actually finished my vision board for you all to see. I wasn't feeling too well at the time. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this post! Go check out The EMPIRE Group!! I have their information below. Have an awesome night everyone!
